Wow!!! Rain Come to Malaysia!!!

Today (29th January 2014), the official Facebook of Twin Towers @Live 2014 make the announcement that Rain already confirm will held the performance at Twin Towers @Live 2014 concert on 29th March 2014 (Saturday) at KLCC. This concert will start on 6 pm onward and it's free for everyone. Actually, Twin Towers @Live 2014 is make two days free concert and it's start on 28 March 2014 (Friday).

This year, Rain make comeback album “Rain Effect”.  It is to be released on January 2, 2014, by Cube DC and distributed by LOEN Entertainment. It is his first studio album in 6 years, since Rainism in 2008, and his first musical release since "Busan Woman" in 2011. The album is said to be mostly written and produced by Rain himself along with Bae Jin-ryeol (JR Groove), Jung Wooyoung and Hwang Hye Kyung. Rain began promoting his comeback album on various music programs, starting on the January 9, 2014, broadcast of Mnet's M! Countdown. The most his brand-new songs including "30 Sexy", "La Song", "Marilyn Monroe" (Hangul: 마릴린 먼로), and "Dear Mama, Don't Cry".

Twin Towers @Live 2014 will announce others artists that will make the performance on this two days concert, as soon as possible. Visit their official Facebook and twitter for latest information.

This time, I combine two days in one story. Even thought, I was visit many places but that is compulsory place we must to go when join tour group by tour agent.

Day 7

After take breakfast at Itaewon, we proceed to the Ginseng Shop. There they will explain about Korea Ginseng and the benefit about it. Now, I know the mature Ginseng period is 6 years and that is the best Ginseng to take for extra nutrition in our style life.

 We spend almost 2 hours at Ginseng shop before we proceed to skincare shop as know as The Face Shop. Actually, in Seoul have a lot of skincare shop and brands. But I don’t understand why our tour guide takes us at this shop and at the same time, she also keeps asking us to buy skincare product at this shop only.

I don’t why but I can feel it, she will get advance allowance from that shop because this skincare shop not include in our tour schedule. After we spend time almost 2 hours 30 minutes at that shop, then we go back to Itaewon for lunch at Indian Restaurant again. 

I think most of our meals at Seoul are Indian foods. I wish I can eat more Korean foods because I like Korean foods rather than Indian foods.

Now, shopping time again but this time the last time we gat chance shopping at Seoul before we go back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We had shopping at Dongdaemun Market, which is Korea’s representative wholesale and retail market. This place that we go is Doota Mall. I saw in front of Doota Mall have subway station name’s Dongdaemun. It is easy to go there by subway too. The Doota Mall is famous with a lot of K-Pop fashions and Korea’s artists also like to go there. If you are lucky, you will meet Korea’s artists too.

Again, tour guide give us 2 hours for shopping at this place. She told us at 6th floor in Doota Mall have the cheap souvenir shop but when we go there I saw it that she so close with the owner at that shop. Let’s me think again~ Extra allowance again?? Hmmm~ can she just be honest to us? Hope my memories at Seoul not turn to bad because of our tour guide.

Seriously, 2 hours shopping at Doota Mall is not enough. I had to be rushing to buy thing at the mall and it make me so crazy.

I try to calm myself after that tragedy during dinner time. 

Then, we go to Seoul Cinema for watching Hi Jump Show. We arrive early 1 hour at the cinema before start the show. This show only uses action and not have dialog. Even their use action only on this show, its quite fun and enjoy too. I understand what they what to say on this show. I can saw too, this show quite famous to foreigners too because at the same cinema, had a lot of foreigners watching this show.

After this end, we get the chance to meet their artist of the show plus their so supporting too for take the picture with them. 

That the schedules on day 7 at Seoul. Day 8 is the last day we at Seoul, Korea. I have to ready packing my entire luggage to go back Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our flight to Kuala Lumpur on 4:40 pm (Korea Time) and we use Korea Air. 

Day 8 (Last Day at Seoul, Korea)

Before we go to breakfast, we meet up at the lobby hotel with our luggage for check out the room hotel.

Suddenly, when I go to the lobby hotel I saw the crews of filming make shooting at the hotel café. The artists on the shooting are so handsome and beautiful too. I take this chance to take the picture with some of them, even though I don’t know their name but its okay.

We straight go to Amethyst Factory before we take late breakfast. Lucky, this time is Korean foods but it’s so sad when I think this time is my last Korean foods. 

Our breakfast is the baby octopus soup, baby octopus Korean pancake and fried fish. The taste of this meal is so delicious and I like it so much. 

Before we go to the Incheon International Airport, our tour guide takes us to Local Souvenir Shop. Then, we proceed to the Incheon International Airport. 

I feel so sad when I had to back home. I want to stay more days in Seoul, Korea because I still have a lot place to visit at Seoul, Korea. 

When I walked around Incheon International Airport at free duty areas, I saw that their have a traditional show for the tourist. That the way to promote Korea Culture to the foreigners and at the same time, I learn the new things too.

That all my stories about my amazing vacation at Korea Jeju on Spring Season in April 2013 for 8 days 6 nights. I so enjoy with my vacation at Korea and I will come again to Korea soon. Hihihi~

Actually, I was go to Korea 2 times in 2013 and this is my first time’s stories at Korea using tour agent services – but my second time’s stories at Korea as free and easy traveler. I was going to Korea again on 30th August 2013 and I go there with my friend. Guess, why I go to Korea again in 2013?? Hahaha~

 P/S: The advantage using tour agents is all the schedule of the tour, their make to us but we can’t change it. Yes, when we choose to use tour agent - they can manage everything to us. But this time, our tour guide is not supporting and good to us – plus our tour leader also can’t do her job so well on our trip to Korea, even she said that she already go Korea many times. Their services to us, it’s also not really good. Just take note with this. If you guys want to go Korea, make deep decision to take tour agent from Malaysian Harmony Tour & Travel Sdn Bhd. What can I said, think before make any decisions.

This morning, we proceed to Yongin Everland is a huge theme park, which is include a zoo and botanical garden. We take breakfast at our hotel before us going to Yongin Everland from Phoenix Park Hotel and Resort.

The journey to Yongin Everland takes around 1 hour 30 minutes by bus. 

When we reach around Yongin Everland areas, out tour guide take us to the place that we can get experience to make Kimchi by our self. We also can understand about the Kimchi history, nutrition, demonstration and testing process. 

Before, we start to make kimchi – we got taste the royal milk. Actually, the royal milk is the milk that only for King during the dynasty but now, all citizens can drink it and it’s quite expensive too. When I taste the royal milk, it’s so delicious and the taste so different with normal milk. 

Now, I understand to make kimchi is not easy. The ingredients to make kimchi are so many and before we mix up the ingredients to whole cabbage – we must douse it with sour water in 1 day. The process to make kimchi is simple but its take 2 days. This first time, making kimchi by me and it’s so fun. I know kimchi have variety of type and all Korean ladies can make kimchi by them self. Our tour guide said to us that, normally modern lady like to buy kimchi at the store rather make it because they so busy with their work and for who can make kmichi, their can married because family in law is like to lady can make kimchi for their son. So if, I want to married Korean guy, I have to learn how to make kimchi after this. Hahaha

Then, we got opportunity to wear the Korean Traditional custom as know as Han-bok. It’s so colorful and beautiful. First time, I wear Han-bok and I love it so much. This is the beautiful experience in my life when I got the chance to wear Han-bok.

After, we make kimchi and wear han-bok – now time we enjoy at Yongin Everland. Everland has three distinct themes, which are Festival World, Caribben Bay and Speendway. Festival World has a Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, European Adventure, and Equatorial Adventure. Each was built with its own uniqueness and style.

When the time I go Everland, it is the tulip season and every corner have tulip flowers. It’s the real tulip flowers not the fake. I got crazy with tulip flowers because every corner of tulip flower I must to take pictures. The scenes on Everland are so beautiful and cute with toys.

As you guys know, Everland is so famous with Korean TV Drama and Korean Variety Show location filming. I still remember Korean TV Drama “My Love Patzzi”, which filming at Everland and Korean Variety Show “Hello Baby” with MBLAQ.  I also meet white lion and the lion that MBLAQ give name to new born lion baby on Hello Baby.

Thereafter, we are shopping at Myeong-dong. Actually, on our schedule we will shopping at the Namdaemun Market, which are the biggest traditional market in Korea selling children’s clothing, men and women’s clothing, and daily miscellaneous goods. But Myeong-dong is only the opposite of Namdaemun Market. I and my friends’ decide to go Myeong-dong only when our tour guide gives us only 2 hours for shopping. For me, 2 hours shopping is so short period because its have so many place to look and buy the K-Pop things.

I know, this place is so famous with K-Pop stuffs and its great place to find want the K-Pop’s merchandises. At the same time, it’s the great place to find the famous of Korean product of skin care. We know Korea so famous with beautiful and handsome people that really care their skin – that why their skin so beautiful.

I visit the most places that I love to shopping are BSX store (G-Dragon’s fashion style). I was big fans of Big Bang and the most Big Bang’s member I love is G-Dragon. That why, this is the compulsory place that I have to go and shopping it. I know I can’t meet the real of G-Dragon but all the picture of G-Dragon already makes me feel so happy. Hahaha~

Then, we go to Korean restaurant to take dinner. This time, our dinner menu is Samgyetang. Samgyetang is the chicken soup made by stuffing a young chicken with glutinous rice, ginseng, jujubes and garlic, then simmering for a long time.

At Seoul, we stay at The M Hotel, which is under Benikea Home program. Our room quite small for 3 persons, but nice plus we have kitchen too.

P/S: The disadvantage using tour agents for vacation on the country that we ready know, is shopping time and the place that we want to go but we can’t go there because not on tour schedule. As you guys know, my hotel is petty close with Hongdae and I don’t know about it, until I back to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our tour guide and tour leader is not too good when we ask to extra hours for shopping and ask for direction when we want to go some where place by our self. Their not tell us; even though we are begging to them. Take note with this. For me, they must to tell us about it, especially tour guide because that is the part of her job to promote Seoul, Korea. I’m so sad when I got tour agent like this. Next time, I went go Korea again; I will go there as free and easy traveler.

On Day 5 at Gangwon-do Province, it’s not too many place to do so we can wake up late in the morning and we take breakfast at our hotel around 9 am. After breakfast, I take chance to take picture at around our hotel because we just stay 1 night at that hotel.

Then, we visit the most famous place of the most beautiful mountains are Seoraksan National Park. Seoraksan (1,708 meters) is considered one of Korea’s most beautiful mountains, and it’s the third highest mountain in South Korea following Hallasan (1,950 meters) and Jirisan (1,915 meters).

The park is spread across four cities: Sokcho, Inje, Goseong and Yangyang and the highest peak is Daecheongbong.

As everyone known, winter season already end around early April but it’s still snow at Seoraksan National Park, because at highest place like mountain – the temperature is still cold. Our tour guide told us, normally at mountain area is not having four seasons but it’s only having two seasons, like winter and summer.

It’s my first time saw the real snow in my life, because in Malaysia, we can’t feel four seasons like in South Korea. 

I so happy on that day because I can feel two seasons on early of April, 2013 at two different place in South Korea. I'm so lucky in year 2013!!

The, we straight go to Daepohong Port. This place is fish men village and it has a lot of seafood. It's look so hot but the temperature is so cool for me.

There are also has small shop that sold so many product from sea, for example seafood, fish and more. I try some fried seafood but I already forget what the name of that meal. What can I said that meal is so delicious.

Then, we proceed to restaurant for our lunch time before long journey to our hotel at Phoenix Hotel. Actually, our restaurant just near by at Daepohong Port. Among Korean restaurant that I go in this tour, all of them normally serve their customers with plain water and their restaurant concept is eat on the floor. 

I love this concept so much because I can feel the Korean culture like on Korean drama, movie and variety show that I watch it. This is our meal. It name's is Haemultang. Haemultang is spicy seafood stew.

 Like I was said before this; we stay at Phoenix Park Hotel. This Phoenix Park Hotel and Resort is so famous for skiing and snowboarding at South Korea, but during our time their close for skiing and snowboarding even though it’s still snow but not for skiing and snowboarding.

As you guys notice, this resort also was filming on the famous Korean variety show “Running Man” and during winter season, there had concert too.

Again, most the Korean TV drama filming location that I got chance to visit at South Korea during my vacation. I already visit the most famous Korean TV Drama Filming location during this vacation. 

Along at our restaurant, I so surprised when I saw the Running Man Restaurant that only opposite our restaurant. I take this chance to take the picture in front the Running Man Restaurant, even thought this restaurant not opens when time I go there.

Wow!! I think I take 20 minutes for taking picture in front our restaurant because we so fun with snow and the entire scene is so beautiful because of snow. I also take chance to play snow ball war among my friends. It’s so fun and at the same time, I forget to take dinner. Hahaha…

Here, our dinner meals; because of mountain areas – it’s so famous with the variety types of mushrooms. I try the 7 types of mushrooms soup this time. It is so delicious and its good take hot soup during cold period because it can make my bodies warm.

This time, our hotel room is modern concept and it’s quite big for 3 persons too. Actually, around this resort, its also have convenience shop so we can buy anything that the store.

I never miss to take the picture with snow.. I think I already fall in love with snow. When I saw snow, I forget about the temperature during that period and maybe because I was born on January too.
