I think this is first time I post the story about my vacation in Malaysia. Most I was update the stories is about my vacation at oversea. Now is time to me telling the stories about the nature beauty of Malaysia, since I was living at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.. Hihihi~

Honestly, in Malaysia have a lot of states with different culture. I was traveling almost all the state in Malaysia, except Sarawak. This time I would like to choose Sabah, Malaysia for the Best Vacation of Nature Beauty.

 Actually, I was travel to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with my parents on 11 May 2012 until 13 May 2012 for 3 days 2 nights as free and easy travelers. We just make booking for flight ticket; include return ways from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu and hotel. We were stay at Novotel 1Borneo Kota Kinabalu Hotel. What can I said? All of vacation in Malaysia as free and easy travelers, because we was feel easy travel like that. 

Our flight to Kota Kinabalu from Kuala Lumpur was around 7 am in morning. We need to stand by at KLIA around 5.30 am to check in process even we flight in domestic. Even this is the domestic flight but we need to standby at KLIA at least 1 hour 15 minutes. We flight by Malaysia Airlines and these airlines always great in everything.

 The journey was taken almost 2 hours 40 minutes from KLIA to Kota Kinabalu Airport.  When we are safely landing at Kota Kinabalu Airport, we still got time before we check in at our hotel. 

For me, taxi service at Kota Kinabalu city is more expensive rather than in Kuala Lumpur. Lucky on that time, one of Kota Kinabalu citizen told us about shuttle free bus from town to 1 Borneo and it’s only can use when you are stay at hotel 1 Borneo only. Actually, 1 Borneo is like new city in Kota Kinabalu and it’s quite far from city but 1 Borneo has big shopping mall just between Novotel 1Borneo Kota Kinabalu Hotel and Tune Hotel.

 We take our lunch at city before we check in our hotel. It’s first time we try Sabah meal’s style and it’s delicious. I like it, especially variety of seaweed meals and seafood’s. Everything from sea was so fresh and cheaper than Kuala Lumpur. 

Even we are living in Malaysia, not mean we know about Sabah. Kota Kinabalu citizen help us a lot since we were on vacation. They are so nice and friendly to us. We also join optional tour in Kota Kinabalu for 1 day tour on the next day based what we want it. The staff of our hotel also friendly and nice on serve their service to us.

When you want to buy Sabah souvenirs, you can find it at Philippine Market or know as Pasar Filipine. The Philippine Market is quite big and you can get all you want in one place. Like I said it’s a market so you can bargain the price too if you buy a lot.

The breakfast at Novotel 1 Borneo Kota Kinabalu Hotel is great and best. They serve variety of meal everyday and this café was open on 5 am until 10.30 am. For me, you can see the beautiful sun around 4.30 am in morning. It’s so early rather than in Kuala Lumpur.

Even though this vacation was family vacation but I still can watch K-Pop concert during vacation. Lucky, I got friend that can buy me ticket showcase Jay Park and this showcase just beside my hotel only. Hihihi~ This showcase of Jay Park so fun and enjoy; plus I got autograph Jay Park too. He is so handsome for me.

It’s true what people said about Sabah’s island. It’s so beautiful. The water of sea so clean and you can see the some fish clear at the jetty. We only choose the near island from Kota Kinabalu city, which is Taman Tun Abdul Rahman, Manukan Island. If we want to see more islands in Sabah, we have to take 1 day tour because Sabah has a lot of beautiful island.

The 3 days 2 night vacation at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is so fun and enjoy even this is the short vacation. I wish someday I will go Sabah again.
