I'm excited to share my Turkey Trip on Day 2. Enjoy it...

Let's me continue my vacation stories at Turkey with my lovely family. On the Day 2, we safely arrive at Ankara Esenboga International Airport, Turkey on 11:30 am (Turkey's Time). Actually, no have different of world time between Qatar and Turkey. It's the same time.

The first problem for our Tour Leader have to face is one of our group members baggage was lost. He has to settle everything before we're beginning our journey at Turkey and meet our Turkey Tour Guide as know as Ms. Gulhan. Of course, she can speak English but sometimes she cans speaking Malay too – since she still under learning.

Actually, our Tour Guide Ms. Gulhan has already arrived at Ankara Esenboga International Airport, Turkey and she was from Istanbul, Turkey. She was waiting for us at in front of arrived gate withhold the Apple signboard so we're immediately recognized her. The first day at Turkey is quite tired to me because I had a long flight journey even my heart is so excited to explore Turkey for the first time. Almost 1 hour we're at the airport, since we have to wait out Tour Leader settle the problem before we continue our journey. 

Actually, Esenboga International Airport, Turkey to me is a little bit small rather than I image before. After landing, we're directly walking until immigration counters of Turkey then after pass the immigration counters of Turkey; we're saw the baggage pick-up counters. Sometimes, this airport reminds me about Haneda International Airport, Japan.

She knows we're so tired after the long flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Ankara, Turkey. So she introduced us to our bus driver, Mr. Muslem for us to take rest on the bus. He is so nice and friendly too. We're like him because he is such as the professional driver. Why? He has excellent driver skill and him also the clean person too. Every pit-stop we stop for taking short rest after quite a long journey, he will clean all the bus windows. Every time, we ride his bus we feel like we're riding new bus on every day along our journey at Turkey.

The first activities in Ankara, Turkey is supposed we have to visit Ataturk Mausoleum, the mausoleum of Kemal Ataturk, the national hero who founded the Turkish Republic. But for our safety in some unexpected situations, so she canceled it. Then, we take the first lunch at Ankara, Turkey before continues our journey to Cappadocia, Turkey.

The first our meals in Turkey is Beef Kebab. It's special menu in Ankara, Turkey. For me, it's quite unique and different if to compare Turkey Kebab in Malaysia but it's delicious. Mostly, Turkish meals are healthy meals so I think I got to lose weight during my vacation at Turkey in this time. Its meals set, which has they started our meals with soup and bread, and then continue with salad, and the main course is Beef Kebab with some rice. Lastly is an apple as our desert. The drink is just plain water or knows as sky juice too.

After a nice lunch of Turkish meals, we're continuing our journey to Cappadocia, Turkey. The journey takes almost 3 hours 30 minutes. Before that along the journey to Cappadocia, we stop by at Salt Lake – the largest lake in Turkey with salt waters. Mostly the salt resource in Turkey is from Salt Lake. It's natural salt. It's been used for cooking, beauty products and more.

Ms. Gulhan said normally they take salt from the lake during the summer time because during that time the water will turn be salts. So it's easy to take. Plus, you can walk on the lake during that time too.

We're just stop-by at Salt Lake in 30 minutes for taking some photos before we're continuing our journey at Cappadocia, Turkey. I really walked on the salt when I want to take some photos at the Salt Lake. It's really salt. During spring seasons, the lake is still having salt waters; even you can see some of the salt at the lake edge.

We've arrived at Cappadocia, Turkey at around 6 pm (Turkey's Time). We're staying at Dinler Hotels Nevsehir for 2 nights on 21 April 2016 until 23 April 2016. Here, I show our room at Dinler Hotels Nevsehir.

We take dinner just at our hotel only, so we have more time to rest. Maybe, I so tired on the first at Turkey – I just think I want to sleep before our full day tour at Cappadocia on 22 April 2016, Day 3 at Turkey.

The vacation's memories in Turkey were so wonderful and amazing. It's still fresh in my mind until today. I can feel that I want to go there again, it's because I feel that I just explore Turkey in 35% only. Turkey is the big country and it's still having many places to explore. When? ~ I'm no sure yet but I still hope someday I'll go there again. Like in my previous blog post of Adventure at Turkey in 2016 – I already share a little bit information about this trip. Now, it's time to me share the whole stories of my wonderful vacation in Turkey with my lovely family. Before that, let's me explain a little bit about Turkey in general. 

Turkey is a transcontinental country, located mostly on Anatolia in Western Asia and on East Thrace in Southeastern Europe. Turkey is bordered by eight countries; Bulgaria to the northwest; Greece to the west; Georgia to the northeast; Armenia, Iran, and the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan to the east; and Iraq and Syria to the southeast. The Mediterranean Sea is to the north. The Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles (which together form the Turkish Straits) demarcate the boundary between Thrace and Anatolia; they also separate Europe and Asia. Turkey's location at the crossroads of Europe and Asia makes it a country of significant geostrategic importance.

I have been chosen the tour package of 11 Days 8 Nights Glorious Turkey with Spring Tulip 2016. Among the places I was been visited around Turkey are Ankara, Cappadocia, Konya, Pamukkale, Kusadasi, Pergamon, Bursa, and Istanbul. The Turkey currency is Turkey Lira and the average currency exchange rate during my trip is around 1.00 Lira = ± RM 1.50. Some places around Turkey have accepted currency of USD and Euro too. The voltage in Turkey is 220 – 240v with two round pin plugs (multiple adapters needed).

Let's begin my wonderful stories of this vacation on the Day 1, which are the stories started during at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia (KLIA) on 20 April 2016 (Wednesday). Actually, on 20 April 2016 we're still working as normal and after work, we're going to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia (KLIA). Of course, we're tired on that day but the excited and happy moods are covering all our tired moods.  

Since we're traveling to Turkey by Travel Agent of Apple Muslim Holiday, the Tour Leader for this trip was always kept updated the information to us before 1 week we're departed to Turkey. The Tour Leader as friendly as know as Mr. Zues, he was quite good doing his jobs, especially when he handle the hard situation and some problems during this trip. The total persons of this trip are 31 adults and 1 infant; include 1 adult of Tour Leader from Apple Muslim Holiday.

We are riding the flight by Qatar Airways from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Airport to Ankara, Turkey Airport on 21 April 2016, 02:00am. But we are having to transit at Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar for 2 hours, before we proceed to flight back to Ankara Esenboga International Airport, Turkey. 

Since our flight from Kuala Lumpur to Doha, Qatar on 02:00 am (21 April 2016 – Thursday), so we need to standby at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia on 10:30 pm (20 April 2016 – Wednesday). He needs time to settle the check-in baggage for our group at the Qatar Airways Check-In Baggage Counter. 

Luckily, I ask Mr. Zues about the Enrich Program Card by Malaysia Airlines during our check-in baggage. Since I and my sister are like to collect points of Enrich Miles Program. We're so happy when we're allowed to collect point of Enrich Miles Program by Qatar Airways since Qatar Airways is also the members of One World Program. Our boarding pass also appears the Enrich Card Member No. and the points were accumulated after 3 days flights to the destinations. 

TIPS - Friendly Reminder: if you forget to key-in the Enrich Card Member No. during the booking flight ticket, just give the Enrich Card Member No. to them at the Check-in Baggage Counter, before they issue the boarding pass. They will help you to key-in the Enrich Card Member No. in the system for you to collect the points. If you have flights of 2 ways back, just inform them during you are the flight back home. Sometimes, they just key-in to the first flight only and they not key-in during the second flight. After 3 days, you can check the points. It has a lot of benefits if you get to upgrade the level of Enrich Members. For more information, just visit the official website of Enrich Program.

After everything was settled well, he gives some briefing about our vacation, especially during the transit at Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar before we're the flight back to Ankara Esenboga International Airport, Turkey. It's my first-time experience of transit flight, so I need alerts during the transit since we're not got the gate any. of our flight from Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar to Ankara Esenboga International Airport, Turkey. For the simple mind, just follow the Tour Leader.

The duration journey from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia to Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar is around 7 hours 30 minutes. This plane is quite big too. The seating arrangement is 2 – 4 – 2. Our flight no. is QR0853 (KUL/DOH).

The things from Qatar Airways that we're got on the plane are refreshment towel, pillow, blanket, small bag, and earphones for entertainment. The special about inside the small bag are eyes mask,  stockings, teeth brush, and earmuffs. It's great, right?

Even though, I seating at economy class areas but it's so comfortable and nice too. The seating space on the plane is also just nice. Their cabin crews are nice and friendly to me.

Before we're chosen our meals on the plane, they were given to us the menu catalog. It's made easy to us for choosing our meals, since its take time to wait for our turn. The meals on the plane I choose from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Doha, Qatar are chicken sausage and potato.

We've arrived at Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar on around 04:30 am (Qatar's Time). The different time between Malaysia and Qatar or Turkey is just 5 hours behind from Malaysia.

After a few minutes, the one of Qatar Airways's crews told to our Tour Leader about next gate no. for our next flight from Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar to Ankara Esenboga International Airport, Turkey. Then, we're walk to transfer link but we also need to thru the body checking at Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar before we process walked to our gate no. of next flight. We just have 2 hours before next flight. We also get the yellow cover of our boarding pass from Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar to Ankara Esenboga International Airport, Turkey. That's mean we just have a short transfer at Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar.

Yes! Soon I will arrive at Ankara, Turkey.

On that morning, we have to queue in the long line for body checking just for transit flight since it has many plane landing on that time. Luckily, our flight delay for 15 minutes and we're can manage our time nicely even the gate no. next flight is quite far too. The first time, I need to ride the airport bus to go next plane but the airport bus is not so bad to me.

This plane is small rather the first plane from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Doha, Qatar. The seating arrangement is 3 – 3. The things from Qatar Airways that we're got on the plane are refreshment towel, pillow, blanket, and earphones for entertainment. Just the different is we do not get the small bag, which is having eyes mask, stockings, teeth brush, and earmuffs. It's okay because our duration is just 4 hours from Hamad International Airport Doha, Qatar to Ankara Esenboga International Airport, Turkey. We're the flight on 07:30 am (Qatar's Time). Our flight no is QR0255.

This time, not have catalog menu but the crew's cabins are polite and nice. The meals on the plane I choose from Doha, Qatar to Ankara, Turkey are the pancake.

I like the entertainment that Qatar Airways provided to their customers. It has so many choices, especially in the movie section. They also have the latest movie too, I can watching the entire latest movie that I not watching yet before this. I enjoy very much the flight experience with Qatar Airways.
